ChaseMakesMeSmile asked:

So, basically I need to add about $175/mo to every number that they give me, right?? (I know the number varies. This is the number that a USAA rep gave me for a $115,000 home in Davidson Co Tn.) …. I was getting my hopes up with those calculators, but I don’t think they’re accurate are they?

Mortgage calculators are almost always accurate - but use 2 different ones and make sure you enter the information accurately. You are right they don’t include taxes and insurance. You will have to add them as well as utilities - heating, electricity, water - which some renters do not pay for.
